DIY Mock Leather Neck Collar

All you need is:
-Leather
-Scissors
-Press studs
Cut out a rectangle measuring your chin to clavicle X around neck; Add some press studs (one is enough or two) following the instructions of the package.

Last week I had an interview and one of the question was "You seem to have quite the affinity for leather. What are some other materials you enjoy creating with? " - of course, I like leather. I really do but I think leather is the most important material/fabric to wear in winter. I know there are other materials we can wear to get warm in winter, my focus could be wool or fur - NO, not because I'm allergic to fur but, luxury is not my forte actually (oh! I love wool) but the thing is - leather is a basic necessity in this season's wardrobe and everybody should have at least a pair of leather trousers (I already have one but I don't actually advice you to buy the same trousers, the quality of them is completely poor), jacket or even a coat (especially when it goes to a military-side). I know leather never goes out of fashion but this season is - head-to-toe.

Wide Lens Sunglasses

Finally I bought new sunglasses! I was desperately looking for big ones, they are from Quay Eyewear Australia (ASOS). I think autumn 2012 is a good moment to wear huge sunglasses, round ones to be more specific but actually I CANNOT because I feel ... fatter than I already am. So I got these ones which are flatbrow-styling.

Sorry for the rare posts, the thing is I am actually sick of white / pastel clothes, sportswear, denim blablabla and also I can't stay in front of my laptop with this amazing weather waiting for me, but I promised myself I will be back from now on.

DIY Leather Page Markers

All you need is:
- Leather
- Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pencil (or chalk)

Cut out what you drew on the leather (not necessarily a triangle or a rectangle, use your creativity); glue it onto the paper, cut the leftover off and it is ready ! You don't actually need to glue the leather onto the the paper but if you want something harder I advice you do.

Here is a solution for those who don't have any page marker as well as myself. Never lose the page you were reading!

Actually I wanted to wear this shirt with a pair of high-waited trousers but I just have black ones, I sincerely wouldn't wear purple shirt with black trousers (Don't ask me why).
I bought this YSL shirt in February when I went to Paris - purposefully larger than me (XL).

Here it is my newest item from my collection, a tote/shopper bag with a white square (j'aime squares atm!).
Next week I will start making clothes for autumn and winter, I'm really busy this week because many people ordered that white leather jacket, that kit-bag and that leather quilted skirt, so next week I'll be probably free and ready to start making new things!!

Eszter In That Jacket

Say 'hello' to my first customer who you probably already know (HERE). Makes me so proud when I look at these pictures and see someone wearing something (HERE) that was made by myself. That doesn't sound important, but yes, that is, at least to me.
Anyway. My printer wasn't really good, that's why the pictures are rubbish. Even so I like them. They look like they were taken decades ago.

Every day I access the street-style site/blog carolinesmode.com (I don't really access it every day to be honest) my heart stop when I 'read' it, especially when I find a picture of a girl/woman in a pair of boots probably by Maison M. Margiela and a man in a burgundy jumpsuit. Isn't that incredible? I love her boots as I like her oversized coat and clutch as well. OMG. I can't stop looking at her.

Thomas Tait: Autumn - Winter 2012-3

Since last season Thomas Tait is doing great collections. For summer everything was white, some huge sunglasses covering models' faces and running shoes, now, for autumn he did something completely different. Almost everything was in black leather, some quilted jackets (which I love) and coats with rounded shoulders BUT what stood out there were definitely the moss green coats and the leather turtlenecks.

Those tips seem so uncomfortable. Don't they? Even so I love them and they make me forget the tight tips.
Oh! Yes. Can you see I took the laces off? Yes, I did. I don't think I need them to wear my shoes. Do I?

WISHLIST: Maison Martin Margiela Mirror T-shirt

From thermal blanket to metallic leather. Many ideas of 'DIY' a mirror t-shirt came to my mind but almost everything was impossible. I mean, it's not as easy as everybody thinks it is. It's not as simple as just putting a piece of thermal blanket over the t-shirt. Conclusion: I do not have many options except buying one.
I would be happier if it came with those mirrors which are around it. Get it HERE.
